Hello, everybody, and welcome to the last episode of the year. As we approach the end of 2023. It's the perfect time to reflect on the past and set our sights on the future. But before we dive into 2024, goals and strategies, let's take a moment to connect on social media. You can find me on Twitter X, as John underlined Michael on LinkedIn as John Michael and Facebook as image Group International. Now let's get started. As we complete the end of 2023, it's essential to review the year that's past this reflection helps us understand our achievements, challenges and the valuable lessons we've learnt. So let's consider a few questions to get us in the mood. Think about what was your most significant time in 2023? What was the smallest decision you made? What was the greatest lesson you learn? Reflect on the most loving service you perform. And what unfinished business for 2023 needs your attention. These questions are some of the ones that will guide you to close the chapter of 2023. And prepare to write the new one in 2024. So reflecting on your year is a valuable exercise allows you to gain insights, learn from your experiences and set intentions for the future. You're not so this is essential because it gives you some data that you won't have sort of forgot about at this moment, because of celebrations and the whole holiday atmosphere that's approaching. So going into the past to create the new year's essential. So along the way, what would creating this future, I also want to share some of my reflections about this year. This is my own reflections. And I'm going to mention some others as well. So when we're talking about achievements and milestones, it's important to take note of your accomplishments and significant milestones of the past year. So it's about celebrating, these could be personal professional. So for instance, on a personal level, attain my weight level, and also my fitness level. So this is something you can think about as well, when you're also looking to do your own reflections. Some of the other ones is challenges and obstacles. When you're doing challenges and obstacles reflect on the challenges you faced this year. Consider how you overcame them and what you learned from these experiences.

3:03
For example, you might have encountered difficulties in managing your time effectively, or face unexpected setbacks in your business. Again, very important to look at this so you can improve for next year. On a personal level. Again, I would say dealing with our clients workplace challenges has been one of those challenges, working from home has been a plus and a negative for a lot of clients. Some clients getting ill. And of course, at a height dimension, this is some unexpected deaths that are very sad and leave the impact with you. Because there were unexpected. So this is something also for you to consider in your own life. The next one was personal growth. So it's assessing how you've grown personally throughout the year. This could involve improvements in your mindset, your emotional intelligence, or your personal development. Perhaps you've learned how to manage stress better, or become more resilient in the face of adversity that you face personally, or from a Korea point of view. From my perspective, I lead and participate in numerous workshops that are added to my awareness of consciousness. And of course, grew my whole knowledge base, and hopefully wisdom long term. The next one is relationships. So relationships is around evaluating what has worked, what hasn't friends, family, and of course professional settings. Question there also is have you nurtured meaningful connections resolve any conflicts or my efforts to strengthen your social ties, networks, reflect on instances where your relationship brought you joy or valuable insights that you might have not thought about? From my experience? It's very clear cut out a couple of toxic people from my life closer to my wife and children and family than ever and that meant because that work among the why on that. So this is important because as human beings we're constantly evolving. And that means is, if you're not evolving, obviously, you're staying the same and staying the same. In this life is like going backwards. So this is some of the feedback from me, to you to also get you to stop looking a little bit deeper as well. The next one is learning skills. Think about the new knowledge and skills you acquired. This might relate to formal education, workshops or self directed learning. For instance, you could have learned a new language, you could be new to the country, you could have learned, suppose some new English skills as an example how in your coding skills were attended a leadership seminar. The next one is happiness and wellbeing. And this, of course, is something that every human being on the planet is looking at some stage of their lives. If not right now, consider your overall happiness or well being this is important again to reflect on that reflect on moments of contentment, joy, and fulfillment. And it could be as simple as enjoying the hobby, spending quality time with loved ones practicing self care, or playing golf, on a Sunday morning, whatever it is for you.

6:08
The next one is setbacks and failures, acknowledge any setbacks, failures, negative experiences, these are opportunities also for growth and learning. Example would be Have you launched a product that didn't succeed in the market. But you've learned valuable lessons from your next venture. So it's about reviewing the goals and intentions you set at the beginning of the year, did you achieve them, if not what held you back, this can help you refine your goal setting process for the future. This is important to do, because a lot of people don't do that, because they're afraid that they didn't achieve anything. Or at times they're feeling that they're lying to themselves, don't worry about that. It's only a reflection, it's a private thing between you and the mirror, nothing else. So don't worry, just do it. For your sake, at least if you don't do it. No, we know this, if you don't write it down, you can potentially measure it. And then if you can't measure it, you're obviously operating in the dark. The next one is gratitude. You know, expressing gratitude for the positive aspects of the year, gratitude can improve your overall well being and perspective, consider the people experiences opportunities you're thankful for be grateful to people that have helped you along the way as an example, reach out to them. I'm certainly grateful, because I've become a grandfather, my first grandchild. Now let's turn our gaze to 2024. And that's all about creating the future. So this upcoming year, remember, is a blank canvas, ready for us to paint our dreams, goals and aspirations. But remember, it's not just about setting resolutions, it's about intentions that I've noted previously, there might have been clear, specific, and a positive vision for what you want to achieve. That could be related to personal or career development. It could be your health, or any other area of your life. And I promise you if you put intention on this, and also, if you can do it by yourself, get the support miracles happen. We have countless testimonials to prove that to set yourself up for success. Your objectives must be crystal clear. By goals like I want to grow my business or want to promotion, one cut it. instead ask yourself specific questions like exactly what do I want to achieve? So be very clear what that looks like? How will I measure the success? And examples of that would be what I want? How will I achieve it, of course, and by when put a deadline. And what is also very important to understand is your y in all of this, the whys why you get up out of bed every morning. And we've discussed this previously. In other episodes, your wide is your driving force, the fuel that sort of keeps you going when challenges arise, it should be so compelling that it propels you forward and strengthens your resolve. And if you are not sure about your why right now, it might be time to visit that or revisit that because it can also evolve like you do. So why do you want to achieve these goals that and that's why no lie comes into so much importance. So as a reminder, alongside your why you must have belief in yourself. It's critical. Our beliefs shape our reality. And self doubt can be a significant obstacle, believing your capabilities and your ability to make your dreams a reality. I have a saying that I tell my clients when live that you are chosen to win. Like the team that you played sport with when you were a child. You were picked in that team. There was a reason you were picked. And part of that was of course other than to perform. The team of course was the Designed to win. And I'm not talking about the recent times I've just been given a ribbon for participating. I'm talking about participating to win. That's why we play in teams, okay? Or even you know, or even individually a sport, it's to win. Now, you're not always going to win. This is the point here. Of course, you could be trading it as a fun concept as well. But of course, from a business career point of view that comes secondary to achieve in your particular goal, then the fun is part of that fun is, you know, more associated with the hobby, but doesn't mean of course, in this constant you can have fun in your business or work because we certainly do. So we clarity on your goals, your why and self belief, it's time to develop then your plan. How will you achieve these goals? What steps will you take, who will be on your team supporting you among the white. This is important because it's rare that you can do it all by yourself.

So remember that reflecting on your year is a continuous process throughout the year, and it's never too early or too late to stop. Whether you journal, discuss your reflections with a mentor or coach. This practice will help you make more informed decisions and continue your growth in the future. As we close this episode, and the year, remember these words, but the great Miles Davis, I'm always thinking about creating. My future starts when I wake up every morning, every day I find something creative to do with my life. That same opportunity is available to all of us and I encourage you to embrace 2024 with creativity, resilience and a clear vision. Remember, your personal brand journey continues.
